I was in Plainview visiting a friend of mine and we were hungry and headed to another place a little further away, however we passed Mario's and saw how crowded the parking lot was so we decided to u-turn and go back. We were very happy we did!
The first thing you're greeted with is a waiter who smiles and welcomes you to the restaurant...a true genuine smile, which would set the tone for the rest of the evening.
The service was spectacular, the food was excellent:
We had mozzarella sticks, meatballs, Caesar salad, chicken Parmesan and the tortellini bolognese, with some sauteed broccoli with garlic.
The food was excellent. The service was with a smile and quick.
All in all, a definite 5 stars and I will definitely head back here next time in Plainview. -

Aug 11/19; This was a very nice looking restaurant. Very clean & nicely decorated. Our server was polite & efficient & delivered service to the table quickly. Competitively priced as well.
So here's the problem...the food was not good. The Caesar Salad dressing was one of the worse I've had, WAY too sweet. The pizza was virtually tasteless & lacked the needed quantity of toppings.
This is definitely NOT a do over in my book. -

I suppose every restaurant is entitled to an off night.
This evening, the wait for our entrees was exceptionally long.
Apparently, there was a shortage of help in the kitchen.
Nevertheless, our entrees were perfect.
My Rigatoni with sausage and broccoli in garlic and oil was amazing and spiced perfectly. This is a must try entree.
And the Linguini with meatballs, as usual was just as expected, always excellent.
Our waiter and the owner both apologized for the wait, and offered us dessert and coffee for the inconvenience.
A delicious cannolli and fresh hot coffee.
Mario's is a local reliable and has never disappointed. -

Had to leave the house at dinner time, so dinner out it is! This place is always awesome! The food, is great and the service always OUTSTANDING! Nitty our waitress was amazing, my chatterbox twins talked up a storm and Nitty was so sweet to them. My go to dish is is shrimp franches and it's always CRAZY GOOD, my daughter had chicken and broccoli, my boy had spaghetti with meatballs, my hubs had chicken franches (can you see a theme?) I just love coming here! I really appreciate the great service we always have, I will never forget my late reservation for New Years and they DID got us a table with a smile! I cant emphasize this enough THIS PLACE HAS ONE OF THE BEST SERVICE OF LONG ISLAND. Plus the food is on point!

This is my favorite pizzeria. I'm 29 and have a LOT of experience with pizzerias so that is definitely saying something !
Would go here every day if I could.
